Support Our Programs

Fundraisers

To date, Economists for Ukraine have raised and spent more than $1.6M in Ukraine. We are actively fundraising and look forward to expanding our impact with your help. All contributions are fully tax-deductible, and 100% of the funds are used for Ukraine.

Donations are collected through the AI for Good Foundation, an IRS 501(c)3 Public Charity (81-1631000).

Medical aid for the front lines of Ukraine

Economists for Ukraine are coordinating an initiative to ship life-saving medical aid to the front lines. We are providing 500 CAT-7 tourniquets to Ukrainian defenders.

Emergency internet access in front-line cities

Economists for Ukraine is coordinating the deployment of an emergency internet backbone for civilians to gain free Wi-Fi access during extended blackouts.

Winter shelters for blackouts

We are raising funds to run shelters in four cities. These are a safe space for Ukrainian civilians when Russia knocks out the power during the winter, providing warmth, electricity, and humanitarian aid.

Humanitarian aid

We help those affected by the war throughout Ukraine, providing necessities and financial assistance. We also support primary education, which the war has severely disrupted in many parts of Ukraine.

Initiatives

Our programs are active since March 2022 and expanding. We respond quickly to new needs, such as setting up backup Internet in response to Russia’s terrorist strikes against Ukraine’s infrastructure. All of our initiatives are geared towards long-term sustainability and economic resilience: helping Ukraine resist now, while setting up effective frameworks for post-war reconstruction and development though digital aid platforms, resilient infrastructure, and funding science.

Svidok

Svidok (Witness) is the largest living museum of personal experiences of the full-scale invasion, giving Ukrainians a voice and creating an invaluable resource to hold Russia accountable for its actions.

LifeForce

LifeForce (My Syla) is Ukraine's smartest humanitarian aid matching plaform, providing immediate support, advice and real-time content on a secure platform to those who are most affected in Ukraine.

Education Centers

Our education centers in the front-line cities of Mykolaiv, Sumy, Odesa, and Kharkiv offer a lifeline for Ukrainian children whose schools have been disrupted by the war.

Universities for Ukraine (U4U)

U4U is a Non-Residential Fellowship Program managed by Economists for Ukraine and Science for Ukraine, in which Ukrainian scholars receive funding and are matched with a sponsor.
