About Us
Economists for Ukraine is an open collective of economists and members of the global academic community working to end Russia’s invasion, support Ukraine’s resilience, and rebuild for a strong, peaceful, and prosperous future. Our organization is the think tank arm of the AI for Good Foundation, a global non-profit innovating technologies to solve some of humanity’s greatest challenges.
We leverage our expertise in macroeconomics, finance, behavioral economics, environmental economics, governance, and game theory to analyze issues surrounding the Russian invasion of Ukraine through op-eds, media interviews, exclusive analyses, and academic research. We also collaborate with the International Working Group on Russian Sanctions to recommend the best policies for targeting the Russian economy.
We don’t just analyze problems—we help solve them. In coordination with the AI for Good Foundation, Ukrainian government agencies, and local organizations, we are proactively supporting Ukraine’s recovery. At any given time, we are running several active fundraisers and other initiatives to address urgent humanitarian needs in Ukraine.
