Economists for Ukraine are coordinating an initiative to get a four-wheel drive SUV to a frontline anti-drone defense unit operating along the border in eastern Ukraine. The vehicle will be used to transport personnel and critical equipment, keeping defenders mobile and ready to respond where they are needed most.
After more than 3 years of full-scale war, Ukrainian units are increasingly under-resourced for the missions they are being asked to carry out. Drone warfare has transformed the battlefield, and the units fighting it need reliable mobility to survive and operate effectively. A single vehicle can make the difference between a unit that can respond — and one that cannot.

More about this initiative
Anti-drone defense units operate in some of the most dangerous and fast-moving conditions on the front. They need to reposition quickly, transport equipment, and evacuate personnel — tasks that are nearly impossible without a reliable 4WD vehicle. This unit has reached out directly to Economists for Ukraine with an acute need that is not being met through official channels.
